RESULTS 2021

Championship

Andy Roberts clinched the overall championship on the final match at Wishaw with 36 points, adding 2 more points to his overall total of 218 points. Now, after 3 previous Runners-Up finishes, his name is on the Trophy!! Dave Sanders claimed Runner-Up, and in 3rd was Dave Harris.

Captains Day

The first major of this year was played at Gaudet Luce on 31.07, won by Dave 'Bubba' Waring with an impressive 40 points, closely followed by runner up Steve Lee on 39 points.

Secretary's Day

The second major of this year was played at Bromsgrove on 11.09, won by Dave Harris and Eddie Barnacle with a better-ball score of 61 points, followed up by runner up Dave Waring and Nick Argyle on 59 points.

Weekend Away

The weekend away was a Ryder Cup, won by Blue Team, captained by Docker against the Red Team, captained by Tony. Congratulations to the Blue Team, a great weekend away!!

Mick Lowe

Our 3x and present Champion, Mick Lowe sadly passed away on Sunday 10th May 2020. He will always be remembered as a key character in our Golf Society, contributing to some of the best golf shots seen amongst us, and many of the fun times we all shared together. His talent, his humour and his all round good nature will be sorely missed. As we would sing to him many times, There is only one Micky Lowe! RIP.
